About Comsort 

North Wales based ‘Comsort’ was set up in 2008 to provide British Sign Language (BSL) professionals who can deliver quality standard or bespoke deaf awareness training to organisations, giving participants the opportunity to develop the skills needed to become deaf aware and communicate with deaf colleagues/students/customers.

Comsort can provide:

• BESPOKE DEAF AWARENESS AND COMMUNICATION TRAINING

• COMMUNICATION SUPPORT WORKERS

• SPECIALIST NOTE-TAKERS 

Comsort was part of the recent consultation with Welsh Government and other professional practitioners involved in designing a curriculum which features British Sign Language (BSL) on the school curriculum in Wales and its implementation.

Comsort tutor Pete was the face of adult learning in a recent Welsh Government learning promotion campaign.
